Vietnam’s manufacturing surge draws CMES’s flagship industrial show to Hanoi, promising cross-border deals and Industry 4.0 insights.

Northern Vietnam will host its first professional machine tool exhibition this November, as the country’s manufacturing sector continues to expand rapidly, buoyed by record economic growth and rising global interest in its industrial capabilities.

The CMES Vietnam International Machine Tool Exhibition 2025, organised by CMES, a veteran exhibition group with over 20 years of experience, will run from 12 to 15 November at the Vietnam Exposition Center in Dong Anh, Hanoi.

The event marks a strategic expansion into Northern Vietnam, a region increasingly recognised for its role in electronics, automotive, and machinery production.

Vietnam posted a 7.52 percent GDP growth in the first half of 2025, its highest since 2011, reinforcing its position as one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing economies. Organisers say the exhibition aims to capitalise on this momentum by offering a comprehensive sourcing and collaboration platform for manufacturers, suppliers, and policymakers.

Spanning 100,000 square metres, the exhibition is expected to draw over 2,000 exhibitors and 100,000 professional visitors.

More than 300 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) from the global machine tool and smart manufacturing industries will showcase their technologies, ranging from high-precision CNC machining centres for automotive components to laser cutting systems for electronics and heavy-duty lathes for infrastructure projects.

Visitors will have direct access to factory pricing, transparent supply chains, and tailored after-sales support, with CMES positioning the event as a gateway to cross-border cooperation. Professional translation and business support services will be available onsite to facilitate international engagement.

In parallel, the “Focus on Industry 4.0: Industrial Machine Tool Digital Innovation Summit Forum” will convene policymakers, industry associations, and business leaders to discuss investment opportunities, regulatory developments, and the future of Vietnam’s manufacturing landscape.

Organisers emphasise that CMES Vietnam is not merely a trade show but a knowledge-sharing hub designed to foster long-term partnerships and innovation in the region’s industrial ecosystem.
